Review of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (1966) by Bass 9 — 21 Jan 2010
Impeccable! That's the word that comes to my mind when I think of this film. An old couple who hate each other, a young couple who "love" each other. Truth and Illusion, what do you choose? It's the best example of dialogue used as a reversal.
.. I really don't know what to say about this movie, it's confusing, real, gritty, raw, sad, fun, smart and complex, very complex. I love movies like this. Thank you Mr. Nichols.
