Review of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (1966) by Celia C — 24 Apr 2008
One of the all time best dramas put on screen. Burton and Taylor are totally immersed in their roles and at times being a fly on the wall in their house is emotionally draining. A groundbreaking film in terms of censorship, subject matter and style.
Taylor is superb and this was her best screen performance. Burton is miraculous as her hubby. Strongly recommended.
