Review of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (1966) by Brian R — 19 Nov 2011
I didn't quite like this one, was hoping something a little better. Everyone kept arguing and carrying about. I knew what was expected in the last portion of the picture and that it self wasn't an emotional pay off.
Imo it was more like a so what? Mike Leigh did a better job of in his movie "Secrets & Lies" The secret in "Who's Afraid Of Virginia Woolf?" is kind of an emotional let down.
To be honest I didn't even care. Liz Taylor's character was better off dead.
