Review of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (1966) by Ejana : — 23 Feb 2011
One night and two couples... and what a film!
Having expected nothing in advance I enjoyed the beginning as a funny conversation of a husband and his wife who were both very clever and had known each other just too well. This innocent beginning developed into a real psychological drama which I witnessed almost without breathing.
The film was made in 1966 as an adaptation of a theatre play by Edward Albee.
