Raw and kind of like most documentaries in style as I've seen before (jumbled, voyeuristic, artsy-fartsy, depressing) aka my kind of film. I really liked the soundtrack and how eye-opening and honest it was.

Some ppl don't get the title-I think its pointing at the irony of it being a "glory" job when really it seems very dehumanizing and also hey it's on display for everyone as though we should want to watch this disturbing stuff.

What was very interesting was seeing how prostitutes are seen in other cultures and man do they show you everything including a sex scene. Movie kinda makes me hate men as they are all piggish and brutes in this movie no matter the country.

Also, it again makes me appreciate how lucky I am to be in America as most other cultures treat women like shit. Funny how in India a man tries to say if we don't have brothels women will get raped more-oh really b/c in case u haven't seen the news women have been being brutally gang raped recently regardless of these brothels there.

Secondly, how SHOCKING it is to see these CHILDREN being prostitutes and wrong. What old man wants to sleep with these young girls-disgusting. In other places they don't value the innocence of childhood and growing up and its morally unacceptable to me.

Not only that but the madams talk to these children very abusively and treat them like pieces of trash. To me Bangladesh seems like the worst place b/c they are children, they are soooo poor, treated like crap by their madams, etc.

... In Mexico that is how I typically picture prostitution, like prostitutes here but worse. I was most surprised by Bangladesh and Thailand. Thailand it is kind of just spoke of like no big deal and glamorized by makeup and hair and treated like a normal job where you clock in and everything.

It was much more professional and clean and gave me a different perspective on prostitution if it's done without being so pimpish and dirty like. Those disgusting cheap-ass American tourist men gave me the scibby-jibbies.

In Mexico, the stories were so nasty with a lot of the "Johns" seeming like they had stds and always wanting to do anal and rim jobs. No wonder that lady smoked crack and the women there had no respect for themselves running around drunk and naked half the time-gross.

What I didn't like about the film was it wasn't that organized and sometimes seemed to jump around or have random parts that weren't explained fully. For instance what do the $ amount equate to in US dollars or who were some of the characters.

Where was that place in the beginning of the film? Some of it could've been given with a little more background. It seemed to be told objectively and the film speaks for itself on the horrors and cultures of the industry.
