This is one of my favorite movies of all time. Theresa Russell brilliantly portrays a day in the life of a prostitute playing to the camera for almost the whole film. It is a documentary of her life and how she got to where she is living the life of a down and out prostitute as her pimp tracks her down.
He is eventually killed and she is free to start over. VERY funny, sad and thought provoking. I took a 72 year old man to see the film when it was released and we both laughed our asses off! It drags a bit mid way through but picks up again to the climatic ending.
A must see if you like cutting humor. Don't say it, see it! Whore is NC-17 rated.
