Well as usual Ken Russell's film is not conventional by any means, but its a very interesting film about.. A Whore. It is structured as almost a documentary as we follow a prostitute around in her day-to-day activities.
The film is very raw and can take a little time to get used too. Theresa Russell does a great job in this film, even though in the beginning it really did feel like she was acting. As the film progresses I found myself clinging to this character more and more.
There are some moments that are suprisingly tender, and plenty of ludicrious ones. Gotta love Ken Russell for continually making interesting films.
