Review of Who Killed the Electric Car? (2006) by Elise C — 01 Jan 2008
That saying love is lovelier the second time around applies in the immediate situation- I wasn't 4 stars fascinated the first time because I must have had my head up my ass (it has happened on more than one occassion that the first view falls short of a true impression.).
What I loved about it was the care that was taken into laying out and exposing the parties and their crafty plots to run a good initiative with practical promise into the ground. If this were put to a mock trial, I believe the trial would have been played out this way, or some very similar way.
But they nailed a lot of people to the guilty cross- like it said that the people of California were in part to blame. I don't buy that in light of many things they said in the film.
It's an important documentary to see because you don't get to see reality laid out like this just anywhere (like say... the news or something like that) and it was still a really good job.
