Review of Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988) by Dan H — 21 Apr 2014
What great characters, what a memorable soundtrack, what amazing VFX (that still hold up pretty well today), what a classic story! In a way, this is almost the anti-Noir. Noir has always been about cynicism and darkness, and Roger Rabbit is very much about learning to laugh and have fun, about losing that cynicism and realizing how it could be holding you back from living a fuller, happier life.
How brilliant! After all these years Who Framed Roger Rabbit is still one of my all time favorite films.
