Review of Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988) by Edgar C — 11 Jun 2011
It was very bold from Mr. Zemeckis to actually attempt an effort of this caliber, mixing so many unlikely genres into one piece of non-stop creativity. However, he was incredibly smart enough to add some sexual noirish undertones in there so the movie could please even critics alike. Nowadays, it is often placed among the "best movies ever made" list and it ranks among the "1001 movies you should see before you die". Overrated as it may be, this is quite a unique journey. I dare you to mention an even better attempt to combine animation with live-action comedy. You can't.
Great atmosphere. It's among the best of the director.
84/100.
