People were way too harsh on this film. It was a completely average thriller. Forgettable, but no worse than many things out there. I was entertained for the 2 hours I was there. Kate Beckinsale did a find job.
Lots of pretty shots of Antarctica. A film willing to let it's female protagonist lose two of her fingers early on. Sure the book is amazing and this is just a way to kill time. But it hardly deserves the vitriol it's been getting.
