Review of White Zombie (1932) by John C — 22 Nov 2010
White Zombie offers imagination and innovative thinking for Horror of its time. However it also offers several jump cuts, grainy imagery, and corny scene transitions and leaves you asking the question why didn't they throw Dr.
Bruner off the roof after he delivers that cheesy end line, "Excuse me, but do you have a match." All in all though it was a decent film, mainly because of Bela Lugosi and his always entertaining performance.
