Review of White Squall (1996) by Sebastian G — 01 Dec 2008
Ridley Scott delivers a very good drama with a hell of a finish. it seems a bit less dramatic in hindsight, once you've seen Perfect Storm, Titanic, and other water-based disaster-movies, but actually this one predates them all and is one of the more solid coming-of-age films.
Jeff Bridges delivers as the lead, but the supporting cast does not let the film down.
