Watch your films through your standard tv speakers?
Dont bother with this.
Watch your films through high quality surround sound?
You might get the intended effect with this film.
Notice however, I said, "might." To me this is a fresh idea to the thriller genre, but I felt it went to waste with this movie. Even if you do have this surround sound set up to loud, bar a few slight moments, this is actually rather boring.
It never feels like it picks up, and the parts to "scare" you felt cheap and wasteful. This had opportunity slapped all over it, but they never took it. At a quick glance at the story, it seems rather good, but just not that good.
