Review of White Dog (1982) by Eric R — 05 Dec 2008
A pretty great little film about a dog that is trained to attack and kill black people, and the ensuing struggle to break this training. I love how this film makes a such a strong statement about racism in our culture by using a dog.
Its just fantastic filmmaking by fuller with great directng. Paul Winfield does a fantastic job playing the trainer who tries to fix the dog. Samuel Fuller you are the man.
