Review of White Christmas (1954) by Michael E — 19 Dec 2010
*** (out of four).
Sugary, Sappy, overly-sweet, but also highly entertaining. It has been several years since I first watched this and thought I'd re-visit it during the holidays.
Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye play two entertainers there they find no snow for Christmas time! What follows is plenty of music and romance, plus some fun moments and some very silly ones. But overall, this classic should help get someone in the spirit of the oliday season. Best part is, not surprislingly, Bing Crosby and Rosemary Clooney, and the title song itself.
