Review of White Christmas (1954) by Joe M — 27 Dec 2017
Started to watch it and then stopped about 2/3's through since I had to go to bed. It was that non-engaging. Too ponderous and glum, mostly due to the much older Crosby really being unsuited for the role of Clooney's love interest.
Kaye is his usual frantic self and Vera-Ellen was ok except when dancing where she was outstanding. Also, for a holiday movie, there was very little Christmas cheer other than the opening scene with White Christmas.
