Review of White Christmas (1954) by Kim P — 12 Jul 2008
A little mis-named since it's not really about Christmas, but it's still a very well made movie. Sure, there are the tenuous excuses to simply put another song in here and there, but the story itself is done well enough that you don't terribly mind it. Crosby and Kaye have good chemistry together and the final act brings the movie together very nicely. So while it doesn't really have much at all to do directly with Christmas, it is still a very enjoyable and well made movie.
(Of course, that depends on how much you enjoy musicals from the '50s.).
