Review of White Christmas (1954) by Graceann M — 30 Dec 2008
I hope that this film was as fun to make as it was to watch. Seeing Danny Kaye make Bing Crosby crack up (during the "Sisters" number) and then watching the "When You're Dancing" and "Choreography" numbers, I couldn't remove the huge smile I had on my face.
I didn't want to. Fantastic film full of sumptuous color, fun Irving Berlin music and excellent, yes, choreography, make for a lovely afternoon at the cinema. Watch for a quick glimpse of a pre-West Side Story George Chakiris in the "Love, You Didn't Do Right By Me" number.
