I do not like this movie, It's not because its an oldie, but it is just plain intolerable, It pains me just watching it. What makes this movie so great? It hardly centers around christmas at all. just two songs at the end! What makes it a christmas classic? This movie is just plain bad, not the acting so much, but the story really blows and the writing really irritates me.
The "It's a wonderful life" aspect is far, far, away. Don't roast chestnuts, roast this movie in an open fire.
