Review of Whisper (2007) by Mega M — 09 Mar 2009

'm a fan of 'evil child' movies, but with that being said, good ones are few and far in between. Whisper is an exception to the rule and will go down in my books as a well made little thriller that works. It's pretty hard not to compare this flick to the recent Omen remake.

The film is very well acted, smart & well written. although a little bizarre. This isn't a movie where the evil child grabs a knife & starts hacking people up. This was a smart move on the part of the director to make this film with an interesting dynamic, this whole kidnapping situation. I also thought that the characters were strong and three dimensional.
