2016.09.06. this movie was not what I expected. I was happy to see Tina Fey (who I adore) step outside of her comedy-film comfort zone and do something a lot more serious. I think this film did a good job of highlighting the issues of war from a unique perspective, as well as feminism and women's rights issues in both the western world and the middle East.
that's not to say there are no laughs, as obviously Tina fey brings her unique brand of comic genius to this role.
