Review of Whiplash (2014) by Dillon T — 13 Jun 2015
The first film to render me speechless for a a good hour after leaving the cinema since Alfonso Cuaran's "Gravity." This is one of the deepest and emotionally complex character study's ever put on screen and the fact that its a thriller about jazz music proves how much of a bulls-eye Damien Chazelle landed with this one.
