Review of Whiplash (2014) by Anders A — 26 Jun 2015
Selfcentered boy going through flesh to achive top-of-the-line jazzdrummer role. Hazzled by J.K.Simmons, which performing a Oscar-worthy sociopathic teacher, going wild with quotes. Intense and abusive, yet entrancing and sharp.
Set in a semi-realistic elitist school-enviroment. Jazz has never been this alpha-male centered.
