Whiplash is a remarkable film. It is a true work of art. J.K. Simmons is especially exceptional in this movie and the fact that its director Damien Chazelle's first effort makes the whole thing seem even more unbelievable.
This is the kind of film that comes around only once in a long time. Deserves the immense appreciation and praise that it has received.
