Review of Whiplash (2014) by Joey V — 11 Feb 2016

Damien Chazelle pulled off a great a movie the script, and directing flawless with the acting talents of J.K. Simmons as Fletcher a musician teacher who pushes his students sanity and abilities, and Miles Teller as Andrew Neyman a student who pursued drums to be the best but spirals into obsession slowly losing his insanity.

This movie is a metaphor to people who tried or was successful at being the best. The movie was amazing in it's own way with daring scenes and great depths of a human who becomes obsessed with being the best and comes out being one of the best movies I've seen in years.
