Even if you're not into jazz, or music in general, Whiplash is a great movie. The closing scene made me weep with elation - "I'll queue you." I can't think of another movie with a comparably complete ending.
The absolutely pefect sound editing makes me really regret not seeing it in a thatre. A new movie just razed it's way into the greenroom of my top 5 all-time.
