Review of Where to Invade Next (2015) by Stephen C — 28 Feb 2016
Michael Moore has done better in past documentaries. His humor is absent here and most of the interviews, while certainly enlightening, were in western European countries. Then he inserts brief video cuts of police and prison violence to emphasize the contrast but there are no interviews with the police.
He also fails to communicate the fact that his flag countries are white and homogeneous with the exception of Tunisia. It is a nice effort with sound lessons for this greedy country but it somehow feels like a lazy production.
