Review of Where to Invade Next (2015) by Claire P — 16 Mar 2016
The USA has a lot to learn from our socialist allies, particularly in Europe. Moore "invades" these countries to illustrate key ideas we desperately need in the US.
I would have liked Moore to cover broader territory, though. Look at the faster internet in South Korea, the transportation system in Japan (and China!), for example. Most Americans will be shocked by the things they learn here. The film made me cry--a deep sadness for the sorry state of the US, where homelessness and unemployment are high, wages are low, and people are sick and dying so much that our lifespan is decreasing.
