Review of Where to Invade Next (2015) by Tanvir M — 24 Jun 2016
Moore's latest is a sweeping and enjoyable romp through many countries in Europe, and one in Africa , looking at aspects of practice that improves quality of life. Loved the segments on education in Finland and Slovenia, school meals in France, post financial crisis Iceland, and labour practices in various countries.
This must be the most optimistic of Moore's documentaries and one suspects that he is mellowing with age, but even at 2 hours I found it a compelling view and gave me reasons for hope in these dark and dismal times.
