Review of Where the Wild Things Are (2009) by Black R — 04 Dec 2011
I loved this book as a kid, and seeing it on film made me love it even more. Where the Wild things Are is a really nice and lovable movie, with also a few dark and depressing parts also.
Directed by Spike Jonze and produced by Tom Hanks, this movie also had a lot of well known people. The soundtrack was the best of the movie, and it never was nominated! Karen O (Yeah Yeah Yeahs) and the kids really made this movie become what it is now, and that should be worth something.
The voices were amazing! with James Gandolfini (Sopranos), Paul Dano (There Will Be Blood), and Catherine O'Hara, Forest Whitaker, Chris Cooper, and Lauren Ambrose. This movie probably is one of my favorite kid movies, and I really recommend it.
