Review of Where the Truth Lies (1999) by Amelia L — 29 Jul 2008
Noirish whodunnit: the story is good, and both Bacon and Firth are excellent, but Alison Lohman is miscast (too young, too little-girlish, too modern-looking, generally unconvincing) and this spoils the film for me. A shame.
(Not sure what the fuss was about the sex scenes: they're nothing to write home about!).
