Where the Crawdads Sing is a nearly-perfect slow burn movie. While it’s not necessarily a film that will have you gripping your armrest in suspense, its sheer beauty in its cinematography, screenplay, performances, and character development will have you enticed from beginning to end.
It’s definitely not explicable, but the film has a way of roping you in, following the heartbreaking yet encouraging lives of every character.
