Review of Where the Buffalo Roam (1980) by Mark D — 30 May 2008
This was the 1980 attempt (the only one I'm aware of prior to Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas) to chronicle the personality of journalist Hunter S. Thompson. Bill Murray reportedly needed at least a year to get back to normal and shake this character, which profoundly affected him.
