Review of Where Hope Grows (2014) by Rich D — 15 May 2015
I saw this movie on opening night. I was unable to stop thinking about it and had to go see it again. Produce made me believe. I believed in his joy and his pain. It may have been his freshness as an actor, but his emotional responses in the film seemed absolutely authentic and drew the viewer into his world in the best of ways.
Touching on so many issues such as peer pressure, alcohol, religion, redemption, and inclusion of those who are different, I would highly recommend this film.
