Review of Where Eagles Dare (1968) by Jurien H — 10 Jul 2007
5+ movie. My favorite, Where Eagles Dare, great plot and even better performance by Clint Eastwood and Richard Burton as two Allied troops trying to invade the "Schloss Adler", a Nazi castle high up a mountain where an American General is being held captive.
The Schloss is only accessible by cable car, so it needs very tactical presicion and timing to get in undetected. But when some of the other groupmembers are secretly killed, the whole mission seems to be impossible.
