Great fun. The book was good as well. Alistair Maclean could always spin a good yarn. This is one of the best. I don't know if its true but Burton was persuaded to do this by being told that Eastwood would do the film and vice versa before either had agreed to do it.
Both the leads are outstanding and the supporting cast is excellent.
