Review of Where Do We Go Now? (2011) by Ramzi K — 10 May 2012
Nadine labaki has made a wonderful piece of art. This movie truly represents lebanon from its plot to its jokes but it also offers us something more. A solution . She uses imagery to symbolize the condition of lebanon.
Labaki mantains the viewers attention using hilarious jokes and situations but then reminds us the gravity of the situation. At the end she makes the viewer uncomfortable but in a way such that he feels that this is the action one must take to achieve peace.
A remarkable movies . I recomend it to anybody and evrerybody.
