Review of Where Do We Go Now? (2011) by Tracy W — 27 Jul 2012
A well-balance comedy-drama which made me laugh and also feel the sorrow and the pain that innocent people of a village go through just because of religious and political conflicts. Having said that, when it comes to the high level of understating and peacefulness among the women of the village, the movie is somehow surreal.
Although I wish it was true, it is hard to believe that a religious woman losses her son due to a religious conflict and instead of craving a revenge she tries to hide the death of her son to calm down the village.
Finally, Nadine Labaki was stunning as always, no matter if dresses as a Christian or a Muslim!
