Review of When Worlds Collide (1951) by Al M — 24 Feb 2009
The Father of disaster films, When Worlds Collide is an entertaining 50s B-Movie sci-fi romp, although the effects are more upscale than your typical B-movie fare. While this seems like an extremely improbably scenario to me (asteroids seem much more likely), it still makes for an early and entertaining apocalyptic story that follows the creation of new noah's ark.
Great fun for sci-fi fans.
