This film takes you where private ryan doesn't. The true narrative of WWII that you'll do anything to get back alive from war and all are reluctant heros. Please stop banging on about technical accuracy of movies and pay attention to the story.
The German assault on the town in Private Ryan is laughable and the story is a cliche. To me this is a closer to the truth depiction of a drafted soldiers story.
