Review of When the Wind Blows (1986) by Patty D — 27 Jul 2007
An absolute classic. It's hilarious (the fun side of it actually comes across a lot better in the graphic novel), at the same time it's heartbreaking to see how an elderly couple naively deals with the nuclear holocaust.
I saw it as a kid the first time, and actually found it traumatising. The animation is brilliant.
