Review of When the Wind Blows (1986) by Dee R — 05 Nov 2008
An astonishingly gentle (and slightly dated) but disturbing portrayal of what would happen in the event of a nuclear war. The music (Bowie), animation (same as The Snowman) and subtle humour throughout just makes you wanna shake the telly and cry about all the bad in the world.
Will always be a nostalgic favourite.
