If you watch it alone at night and convince yourself that the terrible acting could take place in your very house, you could end up getting scared at a few buildup moments. Aside from that, the entire movie itself is a buildup into credits.
Gotta love the classic teen moments though! That hasn't been overdone recently or anything.
