So bad. I so wanted the "Stranger" to be her dad after the speech about "consider this a lesson in being responsible when it isn't easy." I felt that would've made it both funnier and scarier.
spoiler: the stranger is not her dad. disappointment. I also kinda wanted her to die for having a bad haircut. I haven't seen the original, so no basis for comparison, but I feel this premise had a lot of wasted potential.
