Review of What's New Pussycat? (1965) by Paul H — 04 Oct 2007
A lesser artistic success in the early Funny Woody canon. Intermittently hilarious, occasionally thought-provokingly perceptive, its glib wisecrackery is informed by a deep humanity. Even the toughest nuts will crack in the final scenes.
All this and the world's worst singer, Tom Jones, bellowing the world's worst-ever rhyme - 'Pussycat, pussycat, you're delicious / And if all my wishIOUS / Could all come true...'.
