Review of Whatever Works (2009) by Pete S — 16 May 2010
What a pleasant surprise this picture was. David is unflinching and believable as the ego-maniacal prick, Boris. The ending is beautiful if you're a long-time fan of Allen's work, as not only is it possibly the most uplifting ending I've ever seen from him but he's seemingly aware that his time is almost up and he's just begging us to be kind to one another, to love each other.
Some great belly-laughs thanks to David's delivery coupled with great character work by Clarkson and Begley Jr.
