Review of Whatever Works (2009) by Nicolas T — 07 Jan 2010
Take the usual comedy of Woody Allen, add a little bit of the typical humor of Larry David (one of the writer of Seinfeld) and you'll end up with Whatever Works. It's way more a Woody Allen movie than a Larry David movie, even if he play his same old self-centered, misanthropic and regularly difficult character.
This is a nice comedy with the usual themes of the director but it's clearly far from his best work.
