Review of Whatever Works (2009) by Angelina C — 19 Mar 2010
Woody Allen blew the dust off a 30 year old script meant for Zero Mostell in the 70s and handed the role to Larry David. David is more than up to the task, but unfortunately the narrative deviates away from his occasionally funny rants about the worthlessness of humanity to take up a silly thread about southerners let loose in New York.
Apparently it only takes a couple of days to make even the most ardent of hard right-wing religious fanatics into artsy free love practitioners. Let's get Palin to Manhattan stat!
