Reverend Bill is a good actor and of course many of the things he did were staged. But his wife and others in the group do have a sincere the message. If you are a person who can't understand a Christmas without shopping and presents then you don't deserve it.
Corporations and greedy shoppers cheapen the holiday experience and if you don't believe so than you have never worked retail during the holiday season.
